In January 2025, the Edmond de Rothschild Center launched its residency program at the HaT’chiya 14 complex in Tel Aviv. Open exclusively to members of the Edmond de Rothschild Center network, the program hosts two cohorts per year, each consisting of five participants selected by a professional jury. Each cohort spans five months.
The residency provides participants with a shared studio space for ongoing creative work and combines personal and group mentorship. Each participant develops an independent project while also collaborating on a collective project, culminating in a group exhibition. Residents receive professional guidance from experts in art and design, as well as a grant of NIS 10,000 and a dedicated production budget.
The program serves as a platform for creative and professional growth, introducing participants to industry, craft, and Tel Aviv’s evolving urban landscape. Its goal is to propel creators to the next stage of their careers by fostering independent studio practice, supporting the development and public release of personal work, facilitating collaboration, and connecting participants with key players in the fields of craft and design.
