The goal of the Edmond de Rothschild Center’s professional training program, established in May 2020, is to encourage the integration of artists and designers into the local art and design fields.
The program was developed for selected graduates of art and design schools and academies in Israel, who completed their undergraduate studies in the past year.
The program provides its participants with tools to advance their work and establish themselves professionally, with group and individual guidance by a team of mentors with rich experience and ongoing involvement in the contemporary art and design world.
The Edmond de Rothschild Center offers two separate professional training programs, which take place side by side several times a year, each tailored to the unique needs of the artists and designers.

In the art field

The professional training program in the field of art focuses on theoretical and practical contents, including: Writing an artist statement; reviewing and mapping the professional options for young artists and tools for developing them; getting to know the various art and social engagement platforms; mentoring sessions with a leading team specializing in curating, art theory, gallery management, and the development of relevant platforms; and personal meetings with senior artists.
Alumni of the professional development program join the Edmond de Rothschild Center’s network of artists and designers, which provides a space for collaboration, dialogue, and enrichment.

In the design field

The professional training program in the field of design encompasses theoretical content and applicable knowledge in such areas as intuitive thinking processes, entrepreneurship, innovation, presentation workshop and financial management basics for the self-employed, all mentored by leading design professionals and consultants.
Program alumni join the Edmond de Rothschild Center’s network of artists and designers, which forms an enriching space for collaboration and creative dialogue.
