אילנה הופמן
Born in Toronto, Canada (1969), made Aliyah in 2005 and lives in Jerusalem.
Graduated from the photography program at Musrara with honorary mention and Pras Rosh Ha’ir. (2024) My creative process is fueled by life experience and deep intentionality. My work reflects my determination, through the interplay of private and public rituals, documented in stills, video, and performance. During my time at art school I participated in the ACDP at Artport, Tel Aviv (2022), the Incubator Program at Art Cube Artist Studio in Jerusalem (2023), and artist residencies at Hammat Mifal Hapais (2022-2023), Mamuta Center at Beit Hansen (2024) and performance groups both in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. My photographs have been included in the collection at The Mandel Foundation in Jerusalem
(2024).
But, my trump card remains my fifteen incredible children.
