האיור לקוח מהסדרה "ספקטציות" (התבוננויות) שנוצרה בגל הראשון של מגפת הקורונה ומבוססת על היגדים שונים שאספתי באופן ספונטני משלל מקורות.
התקופה הציפה מורכבויות בכל הקשור לפנים וחוץ. בחרתי לתעד את המורכבות באמצעות שיטוטה של דמות מסתורית בעודה שקועה בהרהורים. איור זה מבוסס על היגד הלקוח מתוך הפואמה "On the Train A Man Snatches My Book, Reads" מאת פייג' לואיס על הקשר בין התבוננות פנימה להתבוננות החוצה, בין האדם לטבע ובין האדם לבין עצמו.
تأمّل داخلي
الرسمة مأخوذة من سلسلة "تأمّل داخلي" التي أنتُجت خلال الموجة الأولى من جائحة كورونا، وهي قائمة على مقولات مختلفة جمعتها بشكل عفوي من مصادر مختلفة.
كشفت هذه الفترة الستار عن مختلف التعقيدات المتعلقة في الداخل والخارج. اخترت توثيق هذه التعقيدات بواسطة شخصية غامضة تتجول وهي غارقة في التفكير. تستند هذه الرسمة إلى عبارة مأخوذة من قصيدة
"On the Train A Man Snatches My Book, Reads" لبيج لويس حول العلاقة بين التأمّل الداخلي والتأمّل الخارجي، بين الإنسان والطبيعة وبين الإنسان وذاته.
Spectation
The illustration is taken from the series "Spectations" that was created in the initial outbreak of Covid and is based on various statements that I spontaneously collected from a variety of sources.
At this time, everything related to the interior and exterior began taking new meaning. I chose to document it in the form of a contemplating mysterious figure. This illustration is based on a statement from the poem "On the Train A Man Snatches My Book, Reads" by Paige Lewis. It describes the connection between looking inward and looking out, between human and nature and between man and himself.
