מכתב לרחוק הריק
המונולוג נכתב לאחר אירוע שבעקבותיו היה לי קשה לצאת שוב לרחוב. במכתב אני מתאר את הנחמה שהרחוב הריק מעניק לי, בניגוד למה שהוא היה עבורי בליל האירוע. המילים צפופות וקשות לקריאה, ספק חושפות ספק מסתירות, את הדברים שאני מפחד לדבר עליהם. האיור מתאר הרגשה של חוסר בצורה ובמקביל את חובת נוכחות הגוף והרחוב.
رسالة للبعيد الخالي
كُتب المونولوج بعد حادثة جعلتني استصعب الخروج إلى الشارع مجددًا. أصف في هذه الرسالة العزاء الذي أجده في الشارع الخالي، خلافًا لما كان عليه في ليلة الواقعة. الكلمات متراصة ومن الصعب قراءتها، تكشف وتخفي في آن واحد الأمور التي أخشى التحدث عنها. تصف الرسمة الشعور بالنقص الشكلي، وفي الوقت نفسه ضرورة حضور الجسد والشارع.
Letter to the empty street
The monologue was written after an event that made it difficult for me to walk the streets again. In the letter, I describe the comfort that empty streets give me, as they are opposed to the busy streets on the night of the event. The words are dense and difficult to read, doubtlessly revealing of the things I am afraid to say. The illustration depicts a feeling of lack of form and at the same time the presence of duty of the street.
