Nitsan Mayost

Artist and designer

His work seeks to tie together design, art and sustainability, exploring the concept of responsible design and developing new modes of creativity that avoid causing harm.

Romi Segal

Graphic designer and illustrator.
B.Des. in Design and Art, Kibbutzim College of Education, Technology and the Arts.
Her work includes print and digital design, website branding and design, and fashion illustration.

Kami Shefer

A 26-year-old designer and artist who lives in Tel Aviv-Yafo. She holds a bachelor’s degree in visual communication from the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT, 2022). During her studies, she travelled to Hamburg, Germany, on a student exchange program, where she focused on motion design studies.

Her last animated film was featured in the Haifa International Film Festival and in several festivals abroad, winning several prizes for best animated film.

Inbar Belfer

An illustrator and visual communication designer. Works and lives in Haifa.

Inbar graduated visual communication studies at the WIZO Haifa Academic Center for Design and Education. Today, her main interests are business branding, book illustration, and UX/UI design. Many of her works focus on Haifa and existential issues, such as making an appointment for the municipal property tax department.

Sapir Arzi

A designer, typographer, and photographer who specializes in letter design and broadcast.

Sapir is a graduate of the Department of Visual Communication at Shenkar College of Engineering, Design, and Art (2022). She won the 2022 AlefAlefAlef award for her final project and participated in a student exchange program at HAW University, Hamburg, Germany.

She works as a designer in a branding studio and is involved in creating a comprehensive branding identity for brands in various fields. Typography and letter design in particular are her passion, as well as their integration into the craft – from metal letterpress to font design. She also specializes in Sign Lettering – painting signs using traditional manual brush techniques.

Yuval Boani

An Israeli visual designer. An honors graduate of the Minshar School of Art, Yuval’s work deals with designing unique user experiences, print, illustration, and lettering.

“My work is driven by emotion; that is how I connect with others, evoke their identification with me, and encourage them to share their personal experiences. I have a profound passion for authentic, handmade, and exhilarating work, and with every endeavor, I am thrilled to explore my unique artistic language and expand my reach to new audiences. I live in Emek Hefer, have good people skills, I’m addicted to dogs and my most useful moments of the day are when I’m behind the wheel.”

Shani Getz

A designer, programmer, who is currently a product manager. Grew up in Haifa, studied in Jerusalem, currently resides in Tel Aviv.

Studied in Bezalel Academy of Art and Design’s integrative program graduating from Bezalel’s Department of Visual Communication and the Hebrew University’s Department of Computer Science (2017-2022).

Shani explores the relationship between technology and design, from AI to UX/UI, and how the two worlds can be combined. Her work encompasses designs UX/UI, interactive experiences, product management, and the application of analytical thinking in design processes.

The Coalition for Rare Diseases chose one of her designs as a digital poster leading the Coalition’s international awareness campaign (2022).

Maayan Vizman

A multidisciplinary designer who creates UX/UI product designs, graphic designs, illustration, and motion graphics. She graduated from the Department of Visual Communication, the WIZO Haifa Academic Center for Design and Education. She was a winner of a scholarship award, the WIZO Haifa graduate exhibition (2022). Her thesis, HI-TECH RUSH, is a computer game for two players, which presents the high-tech world in a parodic manner.
Today, Maayan is a UX/UI product designer in a large technology company and a freelance designer. Past projects include an animated interlude for MTV Israel’s television channel, 2020; a campaign supporting the transgender community, chosen and presented on social networks and selected design magazines, 2020; and an honorable mention by Yad Vashem’s School of Holocaust Studies, 2021 for an interactive website.

The group exhibitions she has participated in include Tikkun Chatzot (“The Midnight Rite”), at the Social Space in Atarim Square, Tel Aviv (2020), The Future of the Haifa Museum of Art (2021), and Escapism, Jerusalem Design Week (2021).

Rotem Matarasso

User experience designer, photographer and writer
Born 1993, lives in Kfar Saba
B.Des in Visual Communications Design, Holon Institute of Technology

For the past four year researches sports and fan culture, mostly in Israel and in Germany, and lectures on the intriguing connections between football and culture, design, art, marketing, advertising and other fields. Interested in the design and development of complex systems. Currently working as a UX/UI designer in a big tech company.

Ashger Zamana

Designer and interdisciplinary artist
Born 1990, Ethiopia

Creates time-based media art that revolves around identity, the body, and community. His work was exhibited in several art and design group exhibitions in such art spaces as the Red House gallery, Tel Aviv-Yafo (2018), the Central Gallery, Tel Aviv-Yafo (2019), Stroom Den Haag Art Center, Hague, Netherlands (2020), the Edmond de Rothschild Center gallery, Tel Aviv-Yafo (2022), and the Jaffa Museum, Tel Aviv-Yafo (2021).

Doly Rahamim

A multidisciplinary designer, lecturer, and director of the workshop in industrial design track, Ort Singalovski.
An honors graduate in design and education studies from the Kibbutzim College, and a practical engineering graduate in industrial design from the Hadassah College, Jerusalem.
Doly sees design as an important educational tool, which enables imparting knowledge, changing behaviors, and giving rise to a different way of thinking. She came to design from the fields of mathematics and the development of geometric shapes and physical principles. In recent years, she has researched the world of origami and has developed several methods based on these principles, in order to use them in product design. The application of the methods can be seen in her products.

Yael Shaya

Writer and illustrator, based in Haifa

Graduated from NB Haifa School of Design, Department of Graphic Design – Visual Communication. Winner of the branding scholarship awarded by the school and the Haifa municipality as part of the graduate exhibition (2011).

Author of Mitachat La’Or (“Under the Skin”) (Zameret Publishing), a collection of short stories and illustrations that take the reader on a journey to fill the void, find solace for their pain, and live in the moment.

Daniel Nahum

Graphic and motion graphics designer and multimedia artist
BFA in Visual Communication, Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art (2020)
Designs and produces projects for businesses and individuals in the culinary, music and fashion industries, including brand identity, multimedia work and illustration. Collaborates with local and international studios and artists such as Kan 11, Nunu, Echo, the Jewish Agency for Israel, Alon Livné, and Sony Music.

Eliya David

User experience designer and graphic designer.

Graduated in Visual Communication from Shenkar College, Ramat Gan.

Eliya David currently works in user experience design for complex products in the high-tech industry.

Her personal and collaborative projects are at the intersection of art and design. They often search for a symbiosis between traditional techniques and innovative thinking, and use technological tools.

Her projects seek to deepen our understanding of human nature and of the mind as a mirror to the outside world. They combine visual art, sound, spatial considerations and interaction – together creating a multi-sensory experience.

Vered Tzin- Kleynman

Illustrator and graphic designer, lives and works in Jerusalem.

Graduated in Visual Communication from Musrara, The Naggar Multidisciplinary School of Art and Society; won Excellence Scholarships for both her work in the first year and for her graduation project.

Vered Tzin is a freelance designer and illustrator who focuses on logo and branding design for businesses and on children’s book illustration. She mainly works in illustration, mostly digital.

Ben Molina

Freelance animator.

Graduated in Visual Communication from Shenkar College (2020).

Manager of the Animation Union Israel and leader of the Israeli animation community “Loopim”.

My final film “Half a Saba” was screened at 50 festivals around the world and garnered several awards.

I explore new ways to tell stories and look for anything animated.

The animation industry and community in Israel are dear to my heart and I try to promote them as much as I can.

Shlomi Ben Ezra

Lives and works in Jerusalem.

Graduated in Visual Communication from Musrara, Naggar School of Society and Art.

Ben Ezra is a graphic designer and copywriter with an interest in branding, typography and advertising. In the past, he was a social activist and graphic designer for the movement “Hitorrerut” in Jerusalem.

Yishai Greisman

Graduated in Visual Communication with a specialization in Illustration, HIT Holon Institute of Technology.

Greisman is an Israeli-Canadian illustrator and designer with a humorous and colorful approach to the socio-cultural-political world he comes from. He attempts to define an archetype of localism by adopting a cultural and ethical standpoint towards the place in which he grew up, lives and creates.

His final dissertation “Word of Mouth” is a series of four printed illustrated maps displaying some of Tel Aviv’s typical characters, both temporary and permanent, alongside the tour routes on which they can be found.

NINETYTWO Studio

NINETYTWO Studio was established in the fall of 2016 by Gal Shneor and Enav Sharon-Nitzan, two graduates of the WIZO Academic Center in Haifa.

The studio specializes in visual identity design, book design, typography and photography in the fields of art and culture. The studio also initiates artistic/conceptual collaborations with artists from other disciplines such as textile and plastic arts.

After years of work with Michael Gordon, Gal went on to complete a master’s degree in Book Design at the Typography Department of Reading University, England. Enav is the first prize winner of the International School for Holocaust Studies at Yad Vashem. She also worked as manager of graphic identity design processes at a branding studio in Tel Aviv.

Works by NINETYTWO Studio have been exhibited in Israel and worldwide, including:

Yuval Naor

Graduated with honors in Photography from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (2019); participated in a student exchange program at the Academy of Arts (HGB), Leipzig, Germany; won the Rami Halperin Award for Excellence in Photography, Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (2020); received Excellence scholarships from the Media Company and from SBY Studio (2018, 2019).

Yuval Naor works in photography, video and installation. His works are based on private and national narratives drawn from the past, and explore the different ways in which history and fantasy exist within those narratives.
