BA in art history, photography, cultural studies, curatorial studies, and critical theory |PhD in the direct track, the Program for Hermeneutics and Cultural Studies, Bar-Ilan University
Curated numerous solo and group exhibitions in museums in Israel and abroad, featuring the works of leading local and international artists. Among these exhibitions are: Embroidered Action (2004), (after) (2005), History of Violence (2009), Living Room (2010), showtime (2013), Traces VII – Action Line (2019), and more, presenting artists such as Nelly Agassi, Carlos Amorales, Kader Attia, Janet Cardiff, Jordi Colomer, Tsibi Geva, Mona Hatoum, Michal Heiman, Tatiana Trouvé, Sigalit Landau, Maria Marshall, Ernesto Neto, Chiharu Shiota, Naama Tsabar, Wang Wei, Gal Weinstein and others.
Curator of the Israeli Pavilion at the International Art Exhibition – la Biennale di Venezia featuring a project by Tsibi Geva (2015), and chief curator of Traces VII – Action Line, the 7th Biennale for Drawing in Israel, Jerusalem.
Her curatorial work focuses on theoretical concepts that touch on contemporary life, striving to identify and exhibit significant interrelations between local and international art and to combine the works of emerging talents with that of well-known artists. The development of large-scale, site- and context-specific art installations is a major focal point in her work.
Formerly a faculty member at Hadassah Academic College, Jerusalem, Camera Obscura school of art, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Kibbutzim College of Education, and others. Currently a lecturer at the MFA program, Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and a regular contributor to exhibition catalogs, artists’ books, and other publications. Member of several grant committees for artists, including the Landau Science and Arts awards, the Israel Lottery councils, the Artis grant and others.
