MA in Children’s Literature, Simmons University, Boston | BA in Education and Art History, Hebrew University of Jerusalem
Associate curator of illustrated children’s books and head of the Illustration Library at the Youth Wing for Art Education, Israel Museum, Jerusalem. Faculty member at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and at Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art. Teaches courses on illustration, illustration of children’s literature and curatorial studies. Chairperson of the judging panel for the Israel Museum Ben Yitzhak illustration award (2000-2004 and 2008-2020).
Curated dozens of illustration exhibitions, including solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, and site-specific installations by Israeli and international artists such as Celebration! by French illustrator Hervé Tullet, and Beloved Dog by Maira Kalman. Curator of exhibitions at Israel Museum’s Youth Wing for Art Education: Happy Birthday (2015), Cats and Dogs (2017). Curator of the Israeli pavilion at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair (2014) and of the I Have Already Been exhibition of self-portraits by Avner Katz at the Israel Museum (2021). Member of the judges panel at the Biennial of Illustration Bratislava (2021).
