Lital Bar Noy

A curator and UX designer working on the intersection of technological innovation and artistic creation. Holds an MA in Policy and Theory of the Arts from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and a BA from Shenkar College’s Department of Visual Communication. She studied in the Department of Critical Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Austria, and holds a curatorial studies certificate in museology from the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and Bezalel.
Her work focuses on the relationship between physical and virtual spaces and on creating hybrid models of viewing experiences. She has served as an associate curator and interface designer of “bside,” an AR research project integrating virtual layers in physical exhibition spaces; and designed the AR experience for the exhibition Gathering of Birds at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art (Shira Zelwer, curated by Emanuela Calò). She has curated exhibitions in Israel and around the world, including at the Edmond de Rothschild Center, Ona Untitled Space in Tokio, and the Wrong Biennale – the international biennale of digital art. She serves as associate curator of Hor – a series of performance events in Jerusalem.
Her research on virtuality has been published in journals and presented at conferences. In addition to her work in the art field, she has gained experience as a product designer in tech companies (Microsoft, Meta). This background gives her a wider perspective on the dynamics between people and objects.
