Keren Zaltz

Born in 1981, lives and works in Ramat Gan.
An artist and curator at Indie Photography Group Gallery. Graduated with honors from HaMidrasha – Faculty of the Arts (2008); earned her master’s degree with honors from the Interdisciplinary Program in the Arts at Tel Aviv University (2015). Since 2017, she has been teaching photography in the Department of Visual Communication and the Department of Photography at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. Recipient of a research grant from Yad Hanadiv for her master’s thesis, as well as the 2011 Stiftung Künstlerdorf Schöppingen artist residency grant. In 2021–2022, she co-managed an artistic incubator at Indie Gallery, as part of the Pais Art Incubators initiative by Mifal HaPais. In 2023, she interned in curating in the Photography Department at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Zaltz has curated solo and group exhibitions in Israel, including at the Musrara Social Gallery, the Botanical Garden Gallery in Jerusalem, Hanina Gallery, Alfred Gallery, Binyamin Gallery, and 8P Gallery, among others.
