Letzter’s work reuses discarded materials that have served their original purpose, such as thrown away or damaged consumer products, textile waste, and leftover merchandise from local small businesses that closed down. Slowly disassembling and reassembling them using a variety of techniques, Letzter breathes new life into these items—a sharp contrast to the throwaway lifestyle of recent years.
Her designs have won international awards including the luxury Italian brand Loro Piana’s Knit Design Award in 2022 and the Pyratex award at the BIAAF (Bilbao International Art & Fashion) fashion design competition in 2024.
