Nitzan Goren
Graduate of the Ceramic Department, Tel-Hai Arts Institute.
Formerly an outstanding athlete in dressage horseback riding.
Goren works with a potter’s wheel, casting molds, and hand-building. She specializes in gas firing and porcelain.
She creates tableware for chefs and believes in the connection between the culinary and ceramic worlds.
Formerly an assistant in the external ceramics courses at the Tel-Hai Arts Institute; currently teaches wheel-throwing and hand-building courses at Tel-Hai.
During the war, she developed a network of ceramic artists and led workshops for residents of the Gaza envelope and the Upper Galilee.
She is beginning her MA studies in art therapy and believes in the healing power of clay.
