Julia Shelehov
An artist and designer, working with glass and metal.
Graduate of the Ceramics and Glass Design Department, Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem (2024); recipient of the Deborah Blumenthal Prize for Excelling Final Project.
Her works explore the tension between fragility and durability, between the body and matter, between pain and beauty – through a combination of blown and recycled glass, metals and grotesque and fantastical imagery.
Shelehov’s work has been featured in 1280 magazine and in the Global Graduate Showcase by WGSN and Coloro.
