Lidia Maletin

Project manager, producer and active promoter advancing the restriction of bureaucracy

Born 1978 in Belgrade, Serbia and trained as a ballet dancer. Moved to Jerusalem in 1997 to continue her ballet training at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Owner of the Diwan pub in Jerusalem until 2005 and later worked as a DJ and graphic designer. Producer of theater, art, and dance performances and events in Israel (at Hazira theater and production house, the School of Visual Theater, the Jerusalem Season of Culture, Between Heaven and Earth dance festival, the Room Dances festival and more) and abroad (Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2008, performances in Slovenia, Turkey, and Singapore).

CEO of the Muslala (2011-2013) and the Bar-Kayma for Culture, Art, Music and Peace (2012-2015) non-profit organizations. Currently serves as executive committee member at Muslala, HaMiffal Cooperative Society, and the c.a.t.a.m.o.n dance group, works as production manager at Bar-Kayma for Culture, Art, Music and Peace, and as an independent consultant and speaker on culture, personal, business and organizational management, art production, and project management.
