Michaela Mor
Born in 1998 in Ra’anana; lives and works in Jerusalem; engaged in painting and drawing.
Graduate of the Department of Fine Arts, Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (2023).
Her works explore corporeality and the internal gaze upon the body, focusing on the physical and emotional changes it undergoes and their profound impact on the experience of existence. The process of bodily documentation arises from painterly gestures that combine abstraction, subtraction, engraving on the surface, and layering of paint, resulting in rich textures.
