Talia Hoffman, Dr.

Talia Hoffman engages in art in the fields of cinema, video, performance, and research. She also initiates and develops programs for social and political change using art and cinema, in activities involving local residents from different communities. She is a lecturer on video, performance, and research through art at the University of Haifa’s Department of Art.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in humanities from Bar-Ilan University, a master’s degree (with honors) from the University of Haifa, and a doctorate from the PhDArts program at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. Her works have been exhibited in museums, galleries, and festivals in Israel abroad, including at the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion for Contemporary Art, the Petach Tikva Museum of Art, the Haifa Museum of Art, Beit Hagefen Gallery, the Jerusalem Film Festival, and the Cairo Video Festival.
