Talia Hoffman, Dr.
Talia Hoffman works in the fields of cinema, video, performance, and research. In addition, she initiates and develops social, artistic, and political action programs combining plastic arts and cinema, integrating locals from different communities.
She lectures on video, performance, and research through art at the University of Haifa’s Department of Art, where she is also Co-Director of the MFA program.
She holds a BA in humanities from Bar-Ilan University, an MFA (with honors) from the University of Haifa, and a PhDArts (Research Through Art program, the University of Leiden, the Netherlands).
Her works have been exhibited in museums, galleries, and festivals in Israel and around the world, including at the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion for Contemporary Art, the Petach Tikva Museum of Art, the Haifa Museum of Art, Beit Hagefen Gallery, the Jerusalem Film Festival, the Mamuta Art and Media Center, the Center for Digital Art in Holon, and the Cairo Video Festival.
