“I approach my surroundings as if I were seeing them for the first time, examining the socio-political space, the sense of home, and our response to rapid technological changes with a critical eye. My work, often infused with dark humor, explores themes of utopia/dystopia, alienation, and disorientation. Experiencing several relocations while growing up, I have a mixed sense of belonging and displacement, a perspective that has shaped my identity both as an individual and as part of a collective. This awareness fuels my interest in how images evolve and influence society, particularly the interplay between individuals and technology. I create images and interactive experiences using such media as photography, videography, CGI, AI, and game engines, adapting my work process to my theme so as to reflect the complex social constructs we live in.”
