Ira Prohorova
Born in 1990 in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Made Aliyah in 2015.
Holds a Bachelor of Education in Fine Arts, graduated with honors, Kibbutzim College (2024); participated in a student exchange semester at Kunsthochschule Kassel, Germany; recipient of a special excellence scholarship from the Ministry of Aliyah.
A multidisciplinary artist based in Tel Aviv, who works with portrait photography, video, sculpture, installation, painting and sound. Her works have been exhibited in galleries in Israel and Germany, including the Edmund de Rothschild Center, the French Institute, Ausstellungshalle KhK, and more. She had a solo exhibition in Mimikri Gallery, Kassel, Germany.
