Born 1979, lives and works in Tel Aviv-Yafo
B.Ed cum laude in Art and Education, Kibbutzim College of Education, Technology and the Arts (2023) | Participant in Edmond de Rothschild Center’s Professional Development Program in the field of Art (2024) | Recipient of the Liora Galamidi scholarship for outstanding graduation project (2023) | Participated in the experimental film workshop From Mount Karkom to the Incense Trade Route, Kibbutzim College of Education, Technology and the Arts (2022) | Participated in the student exchange program at Filmakademie Baden Wurttemberg GMBH, Germany (2022)
Cohen is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Art Therapy at Kibbutzim College of Education, Technology and the Arts. His work explores the themes of shame, desire and lust, the possibility of fulfilling any or all of them, and the realization of fantasies as a source of pleasure or agony. His screening installations examine the connection between projected images and physical objects and materials.
