Tal Ben Zvi, Dr.

Cultural researcher and contemporary art curator; senior lecturer at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem.

Her research deals primarily with Israeli art and Palestinian art, with a particular focus on mixed cities and the collective memory of 1948.

Winner of a Curating Award on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Science and Sports (2008).

Tal Ben Zvi has curated a large number of solo and group exhibitions in major Israeli museums and alternative exhibition spaces. She has managed two contemporary art galleries (the Heinrich Böll Foundation Gallery, Tel Aviv, and Hagar Art Gallery, Jaffa) and has exhibited her work in several venues in Europe and the United States — exhibitions, art events and academic conferences.
