Arkady Spivak
Born in 1990 in Moscow, lives and works in Tel Aviv.
Works in photography, video and installation.
Graduated with honors in Photography, Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem (2019); won the CLEVER Scholarship for Creative Leadership on behalf of ERASMUS +; won the Bezalel Award for Academic Excellence (2018); participated in a student exchange program at the University of Brighton, England.
His works range from direct photography, documentation of a performance and experimental video. He explores concepts of masculinity, foreignness and belonging in the Israeli society, personality cult and the individual’s relationship to his/her environment.
