Or Peter
Grew up in Herzliya and currently lives in Tel Aviv; also known by his drag name PATRI$H.
Graduated in Art and Education from HaMidrasha – Faculty of the Arts, Beit Berl Academic College; won two Young Artist scholarships; works as an art teacher and graphic designer.
Or Peter is a multimedia artist whose works — mainly performances and installations — deal with the different aspects of his identity through an observation of gender, political and historical patterns. The act of disguising his appearance allows him to reexamine his moral, political, and philosophical beliefs. He often dismantles and reassembles myths about masculinity and gender norms.
He has exhibited in several galleries and cultural centers in Israel and abroad.
