Many of her works feature wood and fabric sculptures that she manipulates and brings to life from within. During the performance, the mechanisms of the works are exposed, with Shvartz entering the sculptures and emerging from them in full view of the audience. Each sculpture has independent biological characteristics and a subjective identity as a fully formed creature in the world.
