Simhayof Shahaf’s work focuses on staged photography and multi-channel video installations, to examine how technological mechanisms undermine the individual.
Since 2017 Simhayof Shahaf works as a photographer and video editor for artists, choreographers and theatre artists such as Ruth Patir, Hilla Toony Navok, Alina Yakirevich, Ido Feder, Michal Samama, Michal Helfman, Haviv Kaptzon, and others. Her works were exhibited in galleries, festivals, and exhibitions in Israel and abroad, including at the Center for Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv, Edmond de Rothschild Center, Tel Aviv, Ta’ar Gallery, Shenkar Bursa Art Gallery, Cracow Art Week, and more.
