Omer Shach
Born in Jerusalem in 1991, lives and works in Tel Aviv.
Works in painting, sculpture and printmaking.
I strive to represent the tension between the everyday and dreamlike instants; a tension that in my view, is intensified by technology. My personal world of images consists of representations of technology and the atmosphere it engenders. I focus on the mutual interference between materiality and digitality, and how it affects the way we experience reality.
Recently, I had a solo exhibition at Beit Liebling, a duo exhibition at the Alfred Gallery (with Roni Kim) and I participated in a group exhibition at Meital Aviram with Adam Elazar, Tamara Sterno and Samuel Krauss.
